Background:

Neil Anderson started his martial art training in 1980 at the age of nine. Throughout his youth he studied Korean Tae Kwon Do (Chung Do Kwan) under Master Jae Bock Chung.

As a young man in 1996 he was introduced to the Chinese martial art style "Northern Shaolin" (Master Gu Ruzhang lineage) by Shifu Nelson Ferreira, founder of the Zhong Yi Kung Fu Association.

Because of his interest in history Neil focused his undergraduate studies on anthropology. A merging of his passion for martial arts and history is the driving force for the creation of his antique weapon collection, and this website.

Presently Neil is both a student and Instructor at the Zhong Yi Kung Fu Association in Madison Wisconsin.
